Dr. Nikolaus Pitkowitz, founding partner of Pitkowitz & Partners, recently followed the invitation of the Stuttgart Arbitration Circle to speak in his role as President of the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) on current topics concerning the VIAC. During this roundtable discussion, which was also attended by Korinna von Trotha, Executive Director of the Swiss Arbitration Association (ASA), a productive exchange on the innovations and challenges of arbitral institutions in Austria and Switzerland took place. In this meeting, Dr. Nikolaus Pitkowitz also gave an overview of the USPs and advantages of the VIAC. Together with his colleague Peter Machherndl, attorney-at-law at Pitkowitz & Partners, he took the opportunity to exchange professional and personal views on the latest developments with colleagues from the international arbitration community.
